Another Year of Giving

We continue to teach our kids about giving and how important it is for us to appreciate what we have in this life and just how many people in this world need our love.  Thanks to Operation Christmas Child we get to make an impact on someone far, far away.

Next for the season, we will be helping those close to home and you too can help -

Hello!

A dear friend, Karen Bombino, and I have five kids between the two of us, ages 4-8.  As part of our Christmas/holiday tradition, we are going to do a service project with the kids. We have decided to create "utility" bags for the homeless which can include toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, protein bars, little boxes of raisins, hand sanitizer, and socks.  We were wondering if you, our friends and neighbors, wanted to contribute to this effort through donations?

If you are able, please drop off high need items at my house.  They can include items from the list below, travel sized items you pick up from your travels, etc.  You can drop off the items at my house (email me for address).  A safe and secure spot is the covered side door located on the right side of my house.  Please do so by Tuesday, December 1st.

Items of great need:

-toothpaste
-toothbrushes
-deodorant
-body wash
-protein bars
-soup
-tissues
-hand sanitizer
-SOCKS
-band aids
-peanut butter crackers
-feminine products
-other items
-Fast food gift cards

We hope the kids will learn a lot about themselves and their community and truly celebrate the meaning of the holidays.

Thank you,
Karen Bombino & Phillipa Dugaw

One Love!
