Our trip to Jamaica was months ago, can you believe I'm just getting to it. With that said, I'm just going to dive right into it and give you the low down on our time on the island. Our first week home had us on the North Coast at Silver Sands in Duncans. Probably one of our favorite spots to go as a family and with friends. Yup, this year our neighbors joined us for a week of sun and fun. We spend the time playing on the beach and in the pool. Eating some really good food, relaxing, enjoying the cool waters of YS Falls and even enjoying a night out (no kids) at the Jazz and Blues Festival. Jamaica is celebrating 50 years of independence this year so on the first night of the festival they had all Jamaican artists and it was fantastic!
On the second part of our trip home we spent the rest of the time with family. We took the kids to the zoo, did more swimming and just had a blast hanging out with some of our favorite people.
This was also a trip to celebrate mummy's 80th birthday. I look at this woman that raised three wonderful daughters and has a significant part in the lives of her 6 grandchildren and just say to myself "wow". She's special in so many ways and looks amazing for her age. We love you Mummy! Thank you for EVERYTHING.
